Caps is a system Extension which gives you a visual caps lock key indicator.
Caps was inspired by Caps Lock which apple ships for its new PowerBook computers.
Caps differs from Caps Lock in several ways:
• Caps will display the caps lock symbol to the RIGHT of the MultiFinder icons which leaves more room for menus in the menu bar.
NOTE: This location is incompatible with Easy Access which is provided by Apple.
If you are using Easy Access, then Caps is not for you.
• Caps will run on any macintosh running system 6.x or later (actually earlier systems may work, but have not been tested at this time).
So, if you don't use Easy Access and you either: 1) want the neat caps lock symbol on your IIfx (etc.); or 2) you want to maximize your menubar space, then Caps may be for you.
Now for the legal junk (yes, I hate it as much as you do):
Caps is free and may be given to friends as long as this document is included.
However, commercial distribution of any sort is prohibited without written authorization from the author.
